I did it! I jumped on the "band waggon"!!!
Well I’ve jumped on the “band wagon”!!! I never thought I’d see the day that I’d start a blog, but lo and behold, here I am :) As the years keep going by, my family is quickly growing up and we’re all going our separate ways, so I thought that this blog would conveniently help my family stay in touch and know what’s going on in our different lives. So… first things first, I recently attending school down at Dixie State College in St. George, Utah. I LOVED Dixie, and had some of the most memorable experience of my life! Last December my parents moved up north (WAY up north) for my dad’s work, Tiffany followed them, and Steve, well he’s Steve one minute he’s here and the next minute he’s somewhere else, you never know where he’s going to be tomorrow, so after my family moved up north, I thought it a good chance for me to transfer to BYU-I in Rexburg, Idaho. It was time for something new, and I jumped at the chance for a new adventure. So that’s where I am now! I moved to Rexburg January 31, I know the exact date only because I started working the VERY day I moved to Rexburg at an in home health care company as a CNA. I worked there for 6 months taking care of the same sweet old man every day. His name was Lyle, and we grew very fond of each other and became great friends over the six months I worked with him. Sadly he passed away. It was a bitter sweet moment because I missed my friend deeply but I knew how much he missed his wife who had passed away three years previous, and can only imagine how happy he is to be reunited with her. I started school in April because I am on the Spring-Fall track and worked and went to school at the same time, which took some time to get used to, but I managed. But the most beneficial things about moving to Rexburg is because of my wonderfully boyfriend Sam, who lives and goes to school here in Rexburg also. We’ve been dating for about 6 ½ months, and every minute has been wonderful! He’s a wonderful man, I’m very blessed for our relationship and I love him very much! School ended about 2 weeks ago, Sam’s down in Utah working for the 7 week break. (He’s such a hard worker!) And I’m stuck up here in Rexburg. And let me just say when schools out Rexburg is a GHOST TOWN! I can’t go home because I’ve got a new job as a CNA at the school’s health center (which I am VERY, VERY excited for) that starts a week before school starts, but I’ve got training for the job in the middle of August so that doesn’t leave me much time to go home for the break, and with Sam gone, I’ve been board out of my mind, but thankfully I have wonderful cousins who all live up here in Rexburg so I get to spend a lot of time with Ally, Jess, and Mellissa which has been very fun! Mom, Dad, and Tiffany all currently live in North Dakota, where they all three are working, Tiffany will be transferring to BYU-I in the winter! I’m very excited to have her close again. Steve, our military man, is working down in St. George at the National Guard base. He was supposed to be deployed in June but tore his knee (again) and had to stay back. He was quite bummed, but mom and I were secretly relieved that he didn’t have to go to war. Well that’s the update in a nut shell (a big nut shell) of what’s been going on. Were as I have nothing to do until school and work starts I’ll probably be very good at updating my blog, but I am positive as the days get busier I will not be as good of a blogger but I promise to try and update it every once in a while.
